Job summary

Penske, a nationwide logistics leader, is hiring full-time Class B CDL drivers for home daily routes in Goodyear, AZ. You'll run multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships, unload with pallet jacks, and scan items as delivered. Expect 53 hours/week with 1am–1:30am dispatch.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement required. US domicile and valid state license.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year of relevant commercial driving in last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in last 3 years.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations and company guidelines.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• English language proficiency required per federal law.
• Adhere to schedule and complete Penske employment processes including background check and drug screening.
• Role is safety-sensitive per DOT regulations.

What you will do:

Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages

Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule:

Dispatch times range from 1am to 1:30am

5 day schedule: Tuesday through Saturday

Avg. 53 hours per week

Qualifications:

Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence

Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required

3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
