Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring CDL Class B drivers for a home-daily, Monday–Friday route in Fredericksburg, VA. Expect early dispatch between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, with overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and U.S. domicile.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year of documented relevant driving experience in last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required by federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of frozen and fresh product to various customers using refrigerated straight trucks.
• Unload heavy freight using carts, pallet jacks, ramps, and liftgates when available.
• Maintain a professional, safety-focused approach and meet delivery schedules.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Home Daily Class B Delivery Truck Drivers

• Earn $25.73 per hour with overtime after 40 hours
• Home daily

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety
• Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of fresh meat and seafood products to restaurants, country clubs, medical facilities, casinos, airports, and other commercial customers using refrigerated straight trucks.
• Unloaded heavy-touch freight using hand carts, pallet jacks, ramps, and liftgates when available, ensuring safe and accurate product delivery.
• Maintained a professional, dependable, and safety-focused approach while providing excellent customer service and meeting delivery schedule

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Dispatch between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
