Penske is hiring CDL Class B delivery drivers for a home daily route in southern West Virginia. Earn about $60,000 annually with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Enjoy a 4-day work week, consistent schedules, and routes plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement is required.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Compliance with federal/state laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bread products to customers using pre-stacked dollies with roll-off/roll-on returns.
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor with customers.
• Deliveries to customers throughout southern West Virginia.

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety
• Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Deliver bread products to customers using pre-stacked wheeled dollies, allowing for easy roll-off deliveries and roll-on returns with no store deliveries required.
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
• Deliveries to customers throughout southern West Virginia

Schedule:

• 4-day work week
• 7:00 PM start time
• Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday off
• Home daily with a consistent schedule and routes

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
