Job summary

Penske is hiring full-time Home Daily Class B Delivery Truck Drivers in West Virginia. Average annual pay is around $60,000 with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a 4-day work week. You'll drive late-model Penske trucks, deliver bread products to customers, and maintain a professional demeanor on routes across southern West Virginia.

Benefits start day one and include health care, retirement and paid time off. Work starts 7:00 PM with Tuesday, Friday and Saturday off, home daily with consistent routes.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card is required.
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal/state laws, regulations and agency rules.
• Regular, predictable full attendance is essential.
• English language proficiency required by federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11).
• Complete Penske employment application, background check and drug screening.

You will drive:

Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks

Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

Deliver bread products to customers using pre-stacked wheeled dollies, allowing for easy roll-off deliveries and roll-on returns with no store deliveries required.

Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Deliveries to customers throughout southern West Virginia

Schedule:

4-day work week

7:00 PM start time

Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday off

Home daily with a consistent schedule and routes

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
