Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Dallas, TX with weekly pay and strong benefits. Salary is paid weekly, with miles-based pay and a monthly safety bonus. Start times are early morning, and paid training is provided.

Routes are regional with sleeper-tractors and dry van trailers. You will train on equipment as needed and enjoy PTO from day one, uniform allowance, 401(k) with company match, and maternity leave options where eligible.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.52 per Mile with 1500 - 2000 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$30.50 per Stop with 10 - 30 Stops per Week
• Monthly Safety Bonus: $125 per month (Mustmeet all criteria)

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
