Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for routes that include OK, KS, MO, NE, IA. Drivers start early, with options for Monday–Friday or Sunday–Thursday schedules.

Expect weekly pay, generous mileage-based pay, and per-diem allowances. Trucks are well-maintained, and drivers are supported nationwide. Benefits begin after 30 days and include medical/dental/vision, paid time off from day one, a 401(k) with company match, uniforms, and more.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test, background, and motor vehicle checks from the last 3 years.
• DOT physical and Ryder road test required.

• Detect and minimize safety hazards and maintain logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.70 per Mile with 2000 miles per week
• Solo Stops Pay:$28.75 per Stop 5 - 6 stops per week
• Per Diem Pay: $40.00 per night with 5 nights out per week
• Schedule: Monday - Friday or Sunday - Thursday
• Start Time: 5:00 AM - 6:00 AM

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
