Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Springfield, OR. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. SOLO deliveries to OR, WA, ID, MT with regional routes and modern equipment, including 40', 48', and 53' dry van trailers.

Earn $1,500+ per week with miles and stops pay, plus per diem and paid training. Ryder provides training, uniforms, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical and road test
• Provide appropriate Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years OR 2 years within the last 5 years OR 5 years within the last 10 years

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards and maintain accurate logs
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Average Work Week 35 - 60 Hours
• Miles Pay:$0.65 per Mile with 1600 Miles Per Week All Miles Paid
• Stops Pay:$24.00 per Stop with 12 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $28.00 per night 2 - 4 nights per Week
• Paid Training

• Endorsements: Hazmat - Within 90 Days of Hire

• Driving in inclement weather and chaining required

Requirements

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
