Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Harvard, IL who can commit to a regional schedule, with weekly pay and strong benefits.

Routes include IL, WI, IA, OH, MI, IN, KS, NE, MN, ND, SD & KY; trucks are 36 months or newer; pay starts at $1630 per week on average, with top earners over $2000.

Ryder provides paid training, sign-on bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL with endorsements.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• Past driving experience in tractor-trailer preferred.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and background checks.
• Must be able to travel regional routes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state trucking regulations.
• Load/unload and handle freight as required.
• Maintain logs and accurate records.
• Follow routes and schedules to meet delivery times.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

$1630 Per Week Average - And Top Earners can make up to $2000+

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Hours Per Week: 50 or more hours per week
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.60 per Mile with 2000 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$26.00 per Stop with 15 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $40.00 per night with 1 - 2 nights per Week
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday or Tuesday - Saturday
• Start Time : AM / PM Shifts available
• Sign On Bonus:Pays you $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
