Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring full-time Home Daily Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Earn an average of $80,000 annually, with additional incentives up to $10,400 per year. You will operate on a dedicated route, home daily, with late-model Penske trucks and emphasis on safety and reliability.

Schedule is Monday through Friday with 11AM dispatch. Benefits include vacation, retirement plans, comprehensive health coverage, and driver referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL; domiciled in the U.S. with license in home state.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a scheduled route to a cross-dock location and return to the home facility.
• Unload freight from one trailer and reload into another using a pallet jack with the team.
• Scan freight and meet customer-required schedules for timely interline transfers.

What you will do:

• Drive a scheduled route to a cross-dock location to exchange freight and return to the home facility
• Unload freight from one trailer and load into another trailer using a pallet jack while working alongside fellow team members
• Scan freight and adhere to critical customer-required schedules to ensure timely interline freight transfers

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 11AM dispatch

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
