Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring a Local Class A CDL Driver in West Greenwich, RI. You will perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships and routinely unload using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.

You’ll work a Monday–Friday schedule with a 3:00 PM dispatch, drive late-model Penske trucks, and enjoy home daily routes, comprehensive benefits, and strong earnings potential including a sign-on bonus and performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and domiciled in the U.S.
• DOT medical card (interstate) required
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
• DV/MVR with two or fewer violations or accidents

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailers using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to log products as they are unloaded and delivered

What you will do:

• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 3:00 PM dispatch time

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske maintained trucks

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
