Job summary

Penske Local Driver opportunity in Massachusetts offers daily home time and a competitive hourly wage. You will operate late-model Penske trucks, deliver medical supplies to healthcare facilities, and adhere to safety protocols. The role includes overtime after 8 hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

The schedule is five days per week with two consecutive days off, with dispatch between 8:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Applicants must have a valid CDL A and meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is mandatory.
• DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years (or 2 years in last 5).
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers.
• Unload trailers using pallet jacks, plastic totes, carts and lift gates.

What you will do:

• Deliver medical supplies needed to provide patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
• Unload trailer using pallet jacks, plastic totes, carts and lift gates

Schedule:

• Five-day work week with two consecutive days off

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
