Job summary

Penske is hiring Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. Average earnings around 98,000 USD annually with an additional 3,000 USD annual safety bonus. You’ll drive late-model Penske trucks, deliver palletized groceries to local stores, and enjoy benefits including paid vacation, health coverage, and retirement plans.

Home daily with multiple schedules and a driver referral program. We offer excellent training, uniforms provided, and a safety‑mocused environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and domiciled in the U.S.
• DOT medical card required or able to obtain it.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in 3 years or 2 years in 5 years.
• Clean DMV/MVR record with limited violations.
• Compliance with all safety laws and attendance standards.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletized groceries to local stores.
• No pallet breakdowns expected.
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor with customers.
• Home daily with multiple schedules available.

Schedule:

• Multiple schedules available
• PM start time
• $200 incentive for each additional day worked

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
