Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring CDL Class A Truck Drivers in Oklahoma City. Average earnings are around $110,000 annually with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Enjoy home daily operation on a regional relay route between OKC and Fenton, MO, with participation in an excellent benefits package and weekly pay.

Drivers operate late-model Penske trucks, with safety cameras and comfortable specs. Off days are Tuesday and Saturday, and you’ll join a stable nationwide company with strong support and training

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and domiciled in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in 3 years or 2 years in 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR with <=2 moving violations or accidents
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and safety rules
• Regular, predictable full attendance is required
• English language proficiency required
• Pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Deliver bread products to customers using pre-stacked dollies.
• Regional relay route between Oklahoma City, OK and Fenton, MO.
• Relay freight to Fenton, MO and backhaul to Oklahoma City, OK.

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort
• Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Deliver bread products to customers using pre-stacked wheeled dollies, allowing for easy roll-off deliveries and roll-on returns with no store deliveries required.
• Regional relay route between Oklahoma City, OK and Fenton, MO.
• Driver relays freight to Fenton, MO and returns with backhaul freight to Oklahoma City, OK.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Off days: Tuesday and Saturday.

Schedule:

• 5-day work week
• 1:00 PM dispatch
• Off days: Tuesday and Saturday.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
