Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is hiring immediate opportunities for full-time local Class A CDL truck drivers in Oklahoma City. You will drive Penske trucks to deliver medical supplies, staying local and home daily with a 4-day workweek.

The role offers strong benefits and a competitive hourly wage with overtime after 40 hours. Earn $30.61 per hour with an average annual pay around $65,000 and a driver referral program up to $5,000 per referral.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and U.S. domicile required.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents (3 years).
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• Background check and drug screening required (safety sensitive).
• English language proficiency required by federal law.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers.
• Unload trailers using pallet jacks, totes, carts, and lift gates.
• Make local deliveries throughout North Texas and Oklahoma.
• Handle a variety of routes and assignments.
• Home daily.

You will drive:

• Late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks

What you will do:

• Make local deliveries throughout North Texas and Oklahoma
• Handle a variety of routes and assignments
• Home daily

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
• 4-day workweek
• Dispatch times vary based on route
• Approximately 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
