Qualifications

What you will do

• Deliver medical supplies needed to provide patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
• Unload trailer using pallet jacks, plastic totes, carts, and lift gates

Schedule

• Five‑day work week with two consecutive days off
• Dispatch between 8:00 PM and 9:00 AM

You will drive

• Late model, Penske‑maintained trucks
• Best‑in‑class specs designed for comfort and safety
• In‑ward and outward‑facing in‑cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• This role requires English language proficiency (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• Position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company; requires ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Associates must accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to see and hear. Required vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
• Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
