Penske Logistics is hiring immediate opportunities for full-time local Class A CDL truck drivers in New York. You will drive late-model Penske trucks with comfort-focused specs and be home daily, earning $36.85 per hour with overtime after 40 hours.

• Valid Class A CDL is required and must be licensed in the U.S.
• DOT interstate medical card required
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
• DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Compliance with federal/state laws and safety rules
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential
• English language proficiency is required by federal law
• Background check and drug screening required
• DOT safety regulations apply

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• Regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company; requires constant alertness and safe operation. Associates must accept responsibility for their own safety as well as the safety of others

• The associate must be able to see and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
• The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
