Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is hiring full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Lancaster, TX. You will perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships, unload using pallet jacks, and scan products with a handheld scanner.

Expect about 20 stops weekly on a 6:30pm–5am schedule, home daily, with a dedicated route and standard Friday pay cycle. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth across Penske’s nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required; domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• DOT medical card required (non-excepted interstate)
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
• DMV/MVR with <=2 moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency per federal requirements
• Schedule and location compliance and background/drug screening are required

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailers using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.
• Maintain about 20 delivery stops per week

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $71500 annually
• Additional performance incentives available, up to $10,400 annually
• Monday through Friday
• Home daily
• Dedicated route

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• 20 delivery stops per week

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday evening
• 6:30pm to 5am 5 days a week

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske maintained trucks

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
