Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring full-time drivers for home daily routes in Irving, TX. You will operate late-model Penske trucks on dedicated routes with a 3:30 PM dispatch, typically 50–60 hours per week and daily home time.

Earn an average around $83,000 with additional performance incentives up to $10,400 annually. Benefits include paid vacation from day 1, comprehensive health coverage, retirement plans, disability and life insurance, uniforms, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• DOT medical card required or ability to obtain.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• Clean DMV/MVR with few moving violations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-stop shipments to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailers with pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Scan products during unloading and delivery.
• Handle approximately 3 stops per route.

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• 3 stops per route

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 3:30PM Dispatch
• Avg. 50 to 60 hours per week
• Home Daily

• Late model, Penske maintained trucks

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
