Job summary

Penske is hiring immediate full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Denver. You will perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships, unload with pallet jacks, and use scanners to verify cargo.

The role features a dedicated route, home daily, with a robust benefits package and competitive annual earnings. Qualified candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL, have a current DOT medical card, and meet experience requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and domiciled in the U.S.
• DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer violations/accidents in last 3 years.
• English language proficiency required by federal law (DOT).
• Background check and drug screen as part of employment process.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailer using pallet jacks and hand trucks; operate scanners during delivery.
• Maintain safety and accuracy in loading, unloading, and delivery procedures.

• Average $88505 Annually


• Additional performance incentives available, up to $10400 annually

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships


• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages


• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule:

• Dispatch time 4am


• 5 day schedule: Monday through Friday


• Avg. 48 hours per week


• Home Daily

• Late model, Penske maintained trucks

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence


• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required


• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years


• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents


• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency


• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.


• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
