Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring for Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Chesnee, SC. Local, home daily work with early AM dispatch, paid overtime after 40 hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will drive late-model Penske trucks to customers, with 15–20 stops weekly and a strong focus on safety and customer service. Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, and clean DMV/MVR history.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL; domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence.
• Current DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.

Responsibilities

• Haul corrugated product to customers locally.
• Average 15 to 20 stops per week.
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor with customers.

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks

What you will do:

• Driver is responsible for hauling corrugated product to customers locally
• Average 15 to 20 stops per week

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
