Penske is seeking Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Atlanta, GA. Compelling backhaul routes, 8–10 day cycles, and home domicile return create a stable schedule for experienced drivers.

We operate late-model sleeper cab tractors with 53' trailers and inward/outward cameras for safety. Drivers enjoy a robust benefits package, competitive pay, and strong team support.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required and the driver must be domiciled in the U.S. with a state license.
• Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card is required.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency is required for this role.
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Deliver garage doors and related components to customer locations.
• Pick up and deliver backhaul freight across multiple states.
• Complete live load and live unload deliveries.
• Manage 5 to 6 stops per week while maintaining route efficiency.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $110000 annually


• Consistent, high-mileage backhaul routes


• True OTR position covering 48 states


• Drivers typically out 8 to 10 days per trip with layovers required


• Routes designed to return drivers to their home domicile


• Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral

You will drive:

• Sleeper cab tractors with 53' van trailers


• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks


• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety


• Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

What you will do:

• Deliver garage doors & related components to customer locations


• Pick up and deliver backhaul freight across multiple states


• Complete live load and live unload deliveries


• Manage 5 to 6 stops per week while maintaining route efficiency

Schedule:

• Work approximately 8 to 10 days per cycle


• Dispatch window typically between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM


• Dispatch may occur Sunday, Monday, or midweek based on business needs


• Approximately 65 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence


• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required


• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years


• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents


• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines


• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job


• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.


• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required


• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
