Truck Driver CDL Class A - Local - Batavia Location

Join CXI Trucking as a Truck Driver CDL Class A - Local - Batavia Location.

Position Details

• Hourly Rate: $32.00/hr
• Location: Batavia, IL
• Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday
• Start Time: 6 am
• Home daily and every weekend
• Guaranteed 40 hours/week
• Paid overtime after 40 hours
• Dedicated tractor
• Paid safety bonus

Minimum Requirements

• At least 23 years old
• 2 years of commercial driving experience
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past year
• Clean MVR a plus
• Valid CDL with brakes endorsement
• Hazmat endorsement a plus

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely at all times
• Comply with DOT regulations and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Handle shipments according to DOT and company procedures
• Secure loads and equipment
• Use pallet jack, hand truck, and lift-gate as needed
• Lift a minimum of 100 lbs safely
• Read maps or use GPS effectively
• Communicate professionally
