Position Description

Immediate opening for a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Lansing, MI! Join our team and enjoy competitive pay and benefits.

Compensation and Schedule

• Weekly pay: $1200 or more
• Hourly Pay: $29.03
• Shift Pay: $1.00/hour
• Hours per week: 40-50
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, some Saturdays
• Start Time: 2:00 PM

Route and Equipment

• Deliver SOLO within a 10-mile radius
• Local home daily routes
• Tractor Type: Day Cab
• Trailer: Dry Van, 53’
• Freight: Mix of Touch & No Touch – Auto Parts

Truck and Maintenance

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and trucks are fueled at over 800 facilities nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and DOT physical
• Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
• Experience: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret regulations

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading/unloading freight as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
