Compensation and Benefits

• Weekly pay, with earnings of $1200 or more
• Pay per mile: $0.53 for bulk miles, $0.49 for dry van miles
• Total weekly miles: approximately 2000
• Stop pay: $32.50 per bulk stop, $18.50 per dry van stop
• Weekly stops: about 10
• Per diem: $60/night, with potential for 1 night per week
• Overnights booked in Ryder hotels
• Safety bonus up to $2,000 annually, paid quarterly
• Paid training and a schedule from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
• Start time between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM

Application and Route Details

• Deliver SOLO within a 300-mile radius of Fort Worth, home daily, with occasional overnight
• Type of tractor: Day cab
• Trailer types: Dry Van, 53', and Specialized Bulk Feed Trailers
• Training provided on all equipment
• Freight: Touch freight including live stock and animal feed

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Valid CDL with necessary endorsements
• Experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years in tractor trailers or equivalent
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret laws and policies
