Job summary

Talently in Dallas is seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver to support construction projects by delivering precast concrete products locally and regionally. You will work with dispatch, plant personnel, project teams, and customers to keep schedules on track.

You will inspect vehicles, secure loads, maintain logs, follow DOT rules, and stay safety-focused while handling materials outdoors in varying weather. This role offers hands-on, site-facing responsibilities and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A is required and must have a clean MVR.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement.
• Ability to safely maneuver heavy vehicles at construction sites.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills with reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial trucks and trailers to transport precast concrete products, materials, and equipment.
• Deliver loads to job sites and customer locations according to established schedules.
• Inspect vehicles, trailers, and cargo before and after trips, and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Secure and verify loads in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and site requirements with dispatch, plant personnel, project teams, and customers.
• Assist with loading and unloading as needed, following proper material-handling and rigging procedures.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery tickets, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
• Follow transportation laws and hours-of-service requirements, and maintain a clean, professional vehicle.

As a CDL Class A Truck Driver, you will make local and regional deliveries to construction sites and customer locations while working closely with dispatch, plant personnel, project teams, and customers. Nice-to-Have Skills:

• At least two years of commercial driving experience.
• Experience hauling flatbed, oversized, heavy, or construction-related loads.
• Familiarity with local and regional construction-site deliveries.
• Flexibility to work overtime or adjust schedules based on delivery and project needs.
