Job summary

Gibraltar Fabrication is seeking a CDL Driver – Class A for the day shift on a contract-to-hire basis. You will operate a flatbed tractor-trailer to transport materials to and from active job sites and ensure cargo is secured and documented according to DOT rules.

Maintain pre/post trip inspections, logs, and delivery paperwork while coordinating with project teams and site personnel. A safety‑driven, dependable driver with 2+ years of flatbed experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support yard or site logistics operations as needed between deliveries.

• Safely load, secure, tarp, and unload cargo in compliance with DOT cargo securement regulations (49 CFR Part 393).
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections in accordance with FMCSA requirements.
• Maintain accurate ELD logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Navigate active construction sites safely and follow site traffic control procedures.
