POSITION SUMMARY: A Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The driver must ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, adhere to all regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform vehicle inspections before and after routes, reporting safety issues.
2. Safely operate the truck along designated routes and to disposal sites, following route sheets and maps.
3. Operate controls to lift, load, and dispose of waste per safety policies.
4. Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure timely service.
5. Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers.
6. Monitor waste quality and respond to spills safely.
7. Maintain vehicle condition for operational readiness.
8. Complete route sheets, vehicle reports, and other documentation.
9. Meet productivity standards and safety policies.
10. Participate in safety programs and perform additional duties as assigned.
