Ryder System, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver. The role offers weekly pay, paid training, sign-on and tenure bonuses, per diem, and a potential for annual earnings that exceed $100k for top performers.

Responsibilities include safe operation of trucks, loading/unloading as needed, and maintaining accurate logs. Must have Hazmat endorsements, be able to pass a DOT physical and road test, and possess a valid CDL with endorsements.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.
• Must have appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• DOT physical and road test required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Load/unload freight or assist as needed.
• Maintain logs and records with accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 Per Hour

• Overtime Paid After 40 Hours

• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week

• Per Diem Pay: $30.00 per night

• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper

• Paid Travel

• Sign on Bonus: Pays $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days

• Tenure Bonus: Pays You $1000 each year you are with the company from Nov. 1- to Oct. 31

• Freight:Mix of Touch/No Touch – Product Varies

• Paid Training

• Schedule: Monday - Friday - Must be Flexible

• Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack, Rollers, Lift Gate and Moffett

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age

• Pass a Ryder Drug Test

• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

• Pass a DOT physical

• Pass a Ryder road test

• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

• Performs other duties as assigned
