Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Conyers, GA. You will deliver on a regional schedule, with 3 nights out per week and start times around 12:30 AM–6:00 AM, earning weekly pay and eligible for comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Annualized rewards include 80 hours PTO in the first year, uniforms, boot allowance, 401(k) with company match after one year, and maternity leave. Training is provided and safety is prioritized.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Pass Ryder drug test, Ryder background check and motor vehicle record, plus DOT physical and road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Assist with loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Solo Miles Pay: $0.70 per Mile
• Solo Stops Pay: $24.50 per Stop

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
