Position Description

Compensation includes:

• Weekly pay of $1,485 or more
• Hourly rate: $35.00
• Hours per week: 50-60
• Mileage reimbursement: $0.70 per mile
• Per diem: $50 per night
• Paid training
• Schedule varies; start times: AM/PM dispatch

Deliver SOLO to: East Coast. Route: OTR. Equipment: Sleeper, Day Cabs, 26' Straight Trucks. Trailer types: Dry Van, Conestoga, Flatbed 48', 53'. Ryder provides training on all equipment. Freight varies; requires an enhanced license or passport for travel to Canada within 90 days of hire. Trucks are 36 months or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 facilities nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Valid CDL with endorsements
• Class A tractor-trailer experience:
• 9 months in past 3 years, OR
• 2 years in past 5 years, OR
• 5 years in past 10 years

• Ability to follow instructions and interpret laws, rules, and policies
