Job Summary:

Local route Truck Drivers (CDL A or B) are responsible for loading galley equipment onto a truck, driving to various aircraft, and unloading the equipment. They typically operate on local public roads, outside of the airport and terminal.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Load equipment onto the truck.
2. Drive the truck to the aircraft at the local airport.
3. Load galleys according to customer guidelines.
4. Unload dirty equipment and dispose of trash in designated areas.
5. Follow safety and sanitation regulations while adhering to customer guidelines.
6. Interact with airline representatives at the aircraft.
7. Follow directions and work as part of the Transportation team.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Work Experience:

Up to one year of experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

Current U.S. driver’s license, CDL Class A or B required. Some locations may require a Customs Seal.

Language / Communication Skills:

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Overtime as required.
• Arrive on time and comply with company policies.
• Complete necessary paperwork and administrative duties.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to extreme temperatures and noise.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
• Work at heights up to 25 feet or more, depending on aircraft.
