Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Hickman, KY to join a regional route team. The role offers weekly pay, benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for growth within a safety‑driven fleet.

Expect earnings around $1,626 per week on average with top earners above $1,850. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, and successful drug/background checks. Home time varies by schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position; DOT physical and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Load/unload freight as required and maintain accurate records/logs.
• Drive safely on regional routes (TN, KY, AR, IN, OH, MI, KS, IA) in a sleeper tractor.
• Support company safety programs and participate in required checks and tests.

$1626+ per week average-with Top Earners averaging $1850+ Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Sign On Bonus: Pays you $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days


• Solo Miles Pay: $0.69 per Mile


• Solo Stops Pay: $28.75 per Stop


• Per Diem Pay: $40.00 per night


• Schedule: Monday - Friday or Sunday - Thursday WEEKENDS OFF

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age


• Pass a Ryder Drug Test


• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years


• Pass a DOT physical


• Pass a Ryder road test


• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position


• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:


• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years


• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions


• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
