Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for local home daily routes. Earn $29.71 per hour with weekly pay, a $1,250 sign-on bonus at 30 days and at 90 days, plus loyalty and tenure bonuses and paid training.

The role includes a 40+ hour work week, Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, start time around 6:30 AM, and strong safety culture. Ryder provides uniforms and safety equipment, plus comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test, Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
