Ryder System, Inc. in Desoto, TX is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for local, home daily routes with weekly pay, strong benefits and a driving career you can feel good about.

You’ll run No-Touch freight on 53' dry vans with Day Cab tractors, earn weekly guarantees and bonuses, and receive paid training, 401(k) and generous time off.

Ryder emphasizes safety, offers sign-on and quarterly safety bonuses, and supports veterans to grow within logistics.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL with required endorsements.
• 9 months experience in past 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years or 5 years in last 10 years.
• Must pass Ryder drug test and background checks.
• DOT physical and road test required.
• No-touch freight on auto parts with local home daily routes.

Responsabilités

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal/state laws and company policies.
• Detecting and eliminating safety hazards; maintaining accurate logs.
• Loading/unloading freight if required by customer.

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Weekly Guarantee $1325 per week
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.555 per Mile
• Solo Stops Pay:$10.50 per Stop
• Drop and Hook Pay: $6.25 per Drop/Hook
• Shutdown Bonus:Pays You $2000 within the first year
• Safety Bonus:Pays You $250 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter
• Sign On Bonus:Pays you $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days

• Schedule: Monday – Friday or Tuesday - Saturday

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
