Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Evansville, IN seeks a Class A CDL Truck Driver for local, home-daily runs. Expect a 150‑mile radius solo route with 40 hours weekly, 1–2 days off, and start times around 1:00–2:00 am.

Earn $28.27/hr plus $6.16/hr wellness stipend and a $1,375 weekly average, with comprehensive benefits after 30 days. Ryder provides paid training, uniforms, boot and cell phone allowances, PTO from day one (up to 80 hours in year one), and a 401(k) with company match after one

Formación

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and relevant endorsements.
• 21 years of age or older with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Pass Ryder drug test and background checks including DOT requirements.
• Pass a Ryder road test and provide required CDL endorsements.
• 9 months–5 years of prior tractor-trailer experience within specified windows.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver solo within a 150 mile radius of Evansville, IN daily.
• Operate local home daily routes with day cab tractors and 53’ trailers.
• Maintain safety and compliance with all laws and company policies.
• Load/unload as needed and assist with freight handling per customer.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
