We have an opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Driver to join us at Ryder in Tulsa, OK

• Average $2000+ weekly, Top 10% of our drivers at this location make $100k+/year!
• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• 1 year Flatbed experience required
• Overtime Paid After 40 Hours
• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper
• Deliver SOLOTo:Within a 300 Mile Radius of Tulsa Location
• Paid Travel
• Sign On Bonus:$500 @ 30/90 days
• Tenure Bonus: Pays You $1000 each year you are with the company from Nov. 1- to Oct. 31
• Freight:Mix of Touch/No Touch – Product Varies

• Schedule: Monday - Friday - Must be Flexible

Trucks are three years or newer.Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

• Tractor Type: Day Cab and Sleeper - Possibility of 26' Straight Truck
• TrailerType:48' - 53' Flatbed, Dry Van, Reefer, Conestoga, Curtainside and Container
• Hazmat Endorsements Preferred
• Must have Real ID or Passport. Only one is required in order to Fly
• Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack, Rollers, Lift Gate and Moffett
• Load Securement – Strapping, Tarping and Chaining
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
