Route Details

• Deliver SOLO in FL, AL, GA
• Home daily with some overnights depending on the account
• Tractor types: Day cab and straight truck
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission
• Trailer types: Dry Van, Flatbed, Straight Truck
• Ryder provides training on all equipment
• Freight: Touch freight depending on the account

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and are fueled by company drivers at over 800 facilities nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 21
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements
• Verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience:
• 9 months in the past 3 years, or
• 2 years in the past 5 years, or
• 5 years in the past 10 years

• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to interpret laws, rules, and policies
