Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in DeKalb, IL. We are looking for the right Trucker to join our team.

Pay and Schedule

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Weekly Guarantee: $1500
• Hourly Pay: $33.00
• Hours Per Week: 40 or more
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night
• Sign On Bonus: $750 at 30 days and $750 at 90 days
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Paid Training
• Start Time: Varies

Equipment and Route

• Trucks are three years or newer
• Service the Route, not the Truck
• 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by Ryder Technicians
• Deliver SOLO to mostly Midwest, possibly nationwide
• Tractor Type: 2019 Freightliner Sleeper
• Trailer Type: Flatbed, 53’ Dry Van
• Freight varies by Account

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder Drug Test and Background Check
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements
• Experience: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret laws and policies

• Maintain accurate logs and records
• Load/Unload freight as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
