Job summary

You will work a schedule with a Sunday–Friday rotation, regional routes, and a focus on safety and reliability while delivering apparel and other freight. Ryder provides training, 24/7 maintenance support, and company benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and endorsements for the position.
• DOT physical and drug test clearance required.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Provide valid CDL credentials and motor vehicle record as per Ryder policy.
• 9 months to 5 years experience within specified windows or 5 years within 10 years as alternative requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and Ryder policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of trips and deliveries.
• Load/unload freight as required and assist with freight handling.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.65 cents per mile
• Stops Pay: $25.00 per stop
• Sign on Bonus: $2500 paid ½ at 30 days and ½ at 90 days
• Per Diem: $30.00 per night

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
