Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Akron, OH is seeking a SOLO Class A CDL Part-Time Transfer Driver. You will shuttle equipment between Ryder customer facilities, handle no-touch freight, and work a local, home-daily schedule with a Monday–Friday pattern.

The role offers weekly pay of 660 dollars and an hourly rate of 22 dollars with early start times and 30–35 hours per week. Ryder emphasizes safety, training, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months past 3 years, OR 2 years past 5 years, OR 5 years past 10 years.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs. Other tasks as assigned.

Weekly Pay $660 per week

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly


• Hourly Pay: $22.00 Per Hour


• Home Time: Local - Home Daily


• Schedule: Between Monday - Friday


• Part Time: 30 - 35 hrs weekly


• Start Time: 8 AM

All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities

• Route: Shuttle Equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities


• Freight:No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.
