Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Milwaukee, WI for a driving career with weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Position includes a daily home schedule, 40+ hours per week, and a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days of employment. Drivers operate 48' flatbeds with day cab tractors, interstates in WI/IL, and a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL with verifiable experience.
• 9 months of experience in the past 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 years OR 5 years in last 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test and a Background check including motor vehicle records, plus a DOT physical and road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal/state regulations and Ryder policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight if required by customer and assist as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Weekly Guarantee $1385 per week
• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.53 per Mile with 1000 Miles per week
• Daily Trip Pay: $60.00 Per Trip
• Solo Stops Pay:$13.79 per Stop with 45 Stops per Week
• Tenure Bonus:Pays You $300 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter
• Loyalty Bonus:Pays you $5000 half at 6 months and half at 1 year.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
