Position Description

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Bay City, MI.

Pay and Benefits:

• Guaranteed $1071 per week, with weekly pay
• Hourly pay: $26.78 for 40 hours/week
• Paid training
• Quarterly tenure bonus: $300 four times a year
• Loyalty bonus: $1500 at 6 months and 1 year
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, start at 6:00 AM

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver SOLO within a 150-mile radius, local home daily routes
• Operate Day Cab tractor with flatbed trailer
• Load securement, strapping, tarping, and steel freight handling
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check
• Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
• Experience: 9 months in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5, or 5 years in the past 10
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret regulations

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance, safety, accurate logs, and freight handling as required.
