Ryder System, Inc. in St. Peter, MN is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver. Local home daily yard work with no freight—no touch. 36–48 hour weeks, weekly pay and driver benefits make this a strong driving career option.

Salary is paid weekly with a $31/hour PM shift and a $3,000 loyalty bonus ($1,500 at 6 months, $1,500 at 1 year). Endorsements and tanker training are provided within 30–60 days of hire. Join a team that values safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $31.00 for PM Shift
• Hours Per Week: 36 - 48 hours per week Depending on schedule chosen
• Endorsement: Tanker Endorsement within 30 - 60 days of hire
• Backing Experience Required
• $3000 Loyalty Bonus: $1500 paid at 6 months + $1500 paid at 1 year
• Schedule: 4 days one week and 3 the following week
• Start Time: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age

• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
