Ryder System, Inc. in Pompano Beach, FL is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our local fleet. Earn $28.92 per hour with weekly pay, 40–45 hours per week, and paid training. Benefits after 30 days include medical, dental and vision, PTO from day one, and a 401(k) with company match. Hazmat endorsement preferred; home daily on the East Coast.

You will operate day cab tractors, 48'/53' trailers, and follow safety and DOT regulations while delivering HVAC equipment and other freight.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• DOT physical required; pass Ryder drug test.
• Background and motor vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification for last 3 years.
• Hazmat endorsement required; box truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal/state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer.
• Maintain accurate records and logs; perform other duties as assigned.

• Performance Bonus:Pays You $500 Four Times A Year Every Quarter

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
