Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must pass Ryder Drug Test
• Must pass Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Must pass a DOT physical
• Must pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months past 3 yrs OR 2 years past 5 yrs OR 5 years past 10 yrs
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Weekly Guarantee $1250 per Week
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.692 per Mile for the 1st 90 days
• Solo Stops Pay:$19.89 per Stop
• Per Diem Pay: $51.75 per night with 3 nights per month
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday NO WEEKENDS
• Start Time: 5:00 AM - 6:30 AM
