Carter Lumber is seeking a Fleet CDL Driver in Georgia. You will drive well-maintained equipment on local/state routes, with no-touch freight and occasional tarping. This full-time role offers a salary-based pay with bonuses and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience required.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Pass required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and tarp when needed; no touch freight.
• Load/unload with a forklift and operate equipment at sites.

Description

As one of our Fleet CDL Drivers, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record
• Flatbed experience

• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening
• Good communication skills
