Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Auburn, MA is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver. This local shuttle route offers weekly pay, local home daily, and a morning start at 7:00 AM.

Drivers operate well-maintained trucks with no-touch freight, benefit from medical/dental/vision after 30 days, paid time off, 401(k) match, and other company perks. Overtime opportunities exist, with strong support for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months in last 3 years; 2 years in last 5; or 5 years in last 10.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a commercial vehicle and comply with safety & DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service.

• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
