Truck Driver CDL A Flatbed Driver $5K Sign on Bonus!

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 paid after 90 days, $2,500 paid after 180 days

Company has over 60 years of experience as the nation’s largest manufacturer of metal roofing, wall, and building systems. Due to continued growth, we are accepting applications for the position of Truck Driver CDL A Flatbed Driver in Orwigsburg, PA.

Compensation

• Average salary $85,000+ per year, including:
• Weekly guarantee of $1,600, year-round
• Activity-based pay (mileage, stops, unloads, etc.)
• Quarterly incentive potential
• $5,000 Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 paid after 90 days, $2,500 after 180 days
• Per diem pay available (taxable or non-taxable, employee's choice)
• $1,600 retention fee for waiting during the hiring process
• Routes typically 1500-2000+ miles/week
• Work days are 10-14 hours
• PTO paid hourly, based on average annual salary (~$40/hour)
• Bi-weekly paychecks

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday; home every weekend
• Approximately 2-4 overnights/week depending on routes
• Start times around 5:30am, 10-12 hours/day
• No slip-seating; own sleeper assigned
• Routes cover NY, PA, RI, CT, VT, NH, MA, ME (no NYC borough deliveries)
• Deliveries to lumber yards, retail, and commercial/residential sites
• Flatbed Conestoga trailers with moffett deliveries; strap and tarp on rollers. Moffett experience preferred but training available.
• 10-15 stops per route; consistent locations
• Flexibility required for schedule and route assignments

Responsibilities

• Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment
• Deliver and unload steel building supplies
• Provide excellent customer service
• Check vehicle mechanics; report maintenance issues
• Operate flatbed Conestoga trailers with moffett; experience preferred but training provided
• Drive sleeper trucks with forward-facing cameras

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement
• Current DOT Medical Card; pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical
• Minimum 3 years CDL A tractor-trailer experience or 200,000 miles
• Flatbed experience preferred
• Moffett experience preferred but training available
• Excellent physical condition; able to stand, sit, kneel, lift, push, pull for extended periods
• Able to work in various environments and conditions
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Proficient in English (reading, speaking, writing)
• Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling 75 pounds without assistance
