Job summary

NFI Industries is hiring professional drivers to roll with a dedicated fleet and keep high-demand freight moving with no-touch drop-and-hook, local home-daily routes, and late-model equipment designed for comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Current Class A CDL
• Minimum 1 year of relevant tractor-trailer experience
• Acceptable references from past employers
• Must meet all applicable DOT qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules.
• Physically capable of performing all job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs and occasionally 100 lbs.
• Report problems with equipment, accidents, and violations promptly.
• Safely enter/exit the vehicle and perform routes, pickups and deliveries per customer requirements.

NFI driver expectations and requirements:

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Physically capable of performing all job duties, which include moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
• Ability to report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after the route.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
• Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements.
