Position Description

We have an opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Sheboygan, WI. We will buy your truck! If you're transitioning from Owner Operator to Company Driver, we can facilitate the switch.

Pay details:

1. Weekly pay of $1385 or more
2. $1250 weekly guaranteed (must work all 5 days)
3. Solo Miles Pay: $0.60 per mile for 2000 miles/week
4. Solo Stops Pay: $21.59 per stop for 10 stops/week
5. Sign-on bonus: $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days
6. Paid training
7. Schedule: Monday – Friday, with 1 Saturday/month
8. Start time: Between 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder drivers service the route, not the truck. All drivers have 24/7 roadside maintenance and fuel-up services at over 800 facilities.

Deliver SOLO to WI and IL, local home daily route, using day cabs and reefer trailers (48' and 53'). Ryder provides training on all equipment. Freight is no-touch food products.

Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and DOT physical
• Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
• Experience: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret laws and policies
